Brodie from 3H is a passionate Demons supporter. So when he chose a subject for his information report, he didn’t have to think about it too long. Christian Petracca is Brodie’s favourite player. Take a look at his amazing powerpoint presentation!

Girls footy

On Monday the 13th of May, some of the year six girls played footy. The weather was on our side with a nice sunny day and not the slightest bit of wind. The girls enjoyed tackling and unfolding new skills that they hadn’t learnt yet. We won two games and lost two games, then played a friendly match with our Lady of the Southern Cross. We finished fourth overall and we were all very proud of ourselves. Every one showed good sportsmanship and played fairly, but the most important thing, was that everyone had fun, and left the field with a smile! Also, a big thanks to Miss Scarrott, and all the parents that came along, especially Mrs Caserta for bringing us cut oranges and snakes.  🙂  🙂

Year 5-6 District Girls Football

Today I took 20 Year 5-6 girls to the District Girls Football competition at Wyndham Vale Reserve. I was very impressed with the way the students supported each other and also improved in their skills as the day progressed. We played against Manor Lakes, Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Thomas Chirnside and Manorvale (2 wins and 2 losses). The grand final was played between Thomas Chirnside and Manorvale with T.C.P.S. winning 20 – 0.

We had a number of goal scorers:  Ahere – 4 goals, Ploy – 3 goals,  Romy – 2 goals and 1 goal each to Zara, Monique and Keisha. A special mention needs to go to Kayla for being the most consistent player all day. Congratulations to all the girls who participated, it was a fantastic day and you should be proud of your efforts. 🙂
